Renk, South Sudan | December 8 – December 28, 2025 / Issue#13
Between December 8th and December 28th, 338 community feedback responses were collected across Renk’s Transit Centre, Abukhadra, Joda, and related sites. The majority of concerns focused on Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL), followed by Health and Protection.
Main concerns include the delayed distribution of food assistance. Some reports state a technical glitch at the WFP distribution site prevented them from accessing aid for several days.
Another main area of concern are persistent risks in and around the transit centre, ranging from the occurrence of criminal activities to the absence of crucial safety features such as fences at critical points. In addition, various people report they face difficulties in filing reports with the police. Reports state that despite reporting these concerns, or despite reporting instances of crime, problems remain unaddressed.
