Renk, South Sudan | August 16 – 31 2025 / Issue #5
Community Bulletin – Renk 16-31 AUG 2025.pdf
In August, a total of 272 community responses were recorded in Renk through the AAP project.
- Top concerns raised were:
- Protection (most reported)
- Health
- Shelter/NFI
Out of the 272 responses, 61 were forwarded to humanitarian actors for follow-up, and 8 responses were received back from the actors.
Just like in the previous issue, protection-related concerns remain the most pressing. Communities continue to call for stronger physical protection against crime, particularly theft. They also requested the implementation of activities that can reduce the risks of theft and address ‘idleness’ among youth.
On health, many concerns overlap with Shelter/NFI, as community members are asking for mosquito nets and other protective materials to safeguard against mosquito-borne diseases.
CEN, through the AAP project, remains committed to ensuring that community voices are heard and forwarded to the relevant humanitarian actors for response.
